Peace & Justice Vision Statement (9/24/06)
In conjunction with the mission statement of Rainbow Mennonite Church (“to worship, learn, and serve”) and Mennonite Church USA, the Peace and Social Justice Committee plans to educate our congregation about local, national, and international peace and justice issues, with an emphasis on those issues affecting the congregation and Rosedale. We also strive to build relationships with similar peace and justice groups and promote awareness of wider community events. Finally, we will provide opportunities for responding to issues through such means as letter-writing, peace rallies, financial support, and other community involvement.
