Rain Barrels and the environment

For those interested in utilizing water better, especially as KC's sewer system is rundown, rain barrels are a great option.  If you don't know much about rain barrels there are some great websites, mainly www.rainkc.com which talks about the benefits and links to other websites.  Rain barrels can be a bit expensive but there are some work shops coming up soon.  Check out Bridging The Gap for the specific information http://www.bridgingthegap.org/news/specialEvents/RainBarrels/RainBarrelMain.html.  Elizabeth and I have signed up for the April 7th course and there are maybe 4 more open spots.  Cost is $35 and you walk out with a completed 55 gallon rain barrel.
