One of the focuses of our group has been an interest in immigration advocation. Cinco De Mayo passed with a rally at the KC, Missouri city buildings, but the awareness of a march was lacking. I think we, as a group, found out about it a day before hand or even the day of. Is there a way that we can get better connected with the groups working for immigration reform? As we are trying to support them it would be good for us to develop some type of connection. Someone mentioned El Centro as a good place to begin. Does anyone already have contact to El Centro or know of other groups?
